Auro 1.31 Patch Notes!

Hello all! As you know, we’ve been working our tails off on a number of things. The Kickstarter, the Greenlight campaign, the PC version, and even Quest Mode itself are all things we’re building, marketing, and pre-production-ing for.

But even though that’s the case, we’re still making significant patch changes. Version 1.31 has actually been a long time in the making. It involves quite a few important gameplay changes, as well as some technical stuff. Let us know how the game looks on your iPhone 6!

Onto the notes!
– Added a Kickstarter icon to the game  (support us on Kickstarter!)
– Fixed some touch map issues. Apologies if you were having a lot of misclicks before!
– Smoothed out the Ranks and added more (there are now 4 Easy, 5 Normal and 5 Hard ranks before Master. So Master 1 is now Rank 15!
– Slightly more monster variation throughout. This shouldn’t affect balance much at all, but you should get slightly more interesting monster combinations in this version. Let us know

    I would like to know when this update will be available on HumbleBundle for those who purchased the bundle for mobile with Auro.

      Hi Tadeu. I have sent 1.31 to HIB, so it should be out now or very soon. I will remind them about it if it’s not out tomorrow.

    Having big issues with Auro on iPhone 5s with latest, not jail token, iOS.
    Both 1.3 and 1.31. In Play mode Auro stops responding to taps and won’t move. I can trigger spells but cannot restart or resign (taps on the OK button in their dialogs are unrecognized, my only option is to tap Back). Really frustrating. Even if I force quit and restart Auro, the problem reoccurs quickly. It basically makes the game unplayable.

        Don’t know what triggers it. The game makes the sound of Auro moving, but he doesn’t move and neither do monsters. If I trigger a spell that moves monsters they do move, and can be killed. Sometimes it happens right when I start a game, sometimes it happens in the middle of a game. I am Rank 5 Squid if that matters.

        If I press the home button and re-enter auro it still doesn’t work.

        If I double tap the home button, swipe up on auro to kill it and then relaunch the game, it will restart a few moves before the freeze, but no matter what I do (even if I start moving in the opposite direction) it will freeze again in a few moves.

        I have also encountered games where the screen stays dimmed and “Loading…” continues to display over the screen, but I can play the game behind it.

        I have seen Auro also sometimes fail to display the text of the characters at the top of the screen at the beginning of a game. It draws their graphic, but not the text. If I tap on the blank area where the text should be It takes me to a screen where I can actually see the text.

        Once I have had the issue with Auro failing to move, I can’t restart or resign the level. If I tap on the menu button, the menu comes up, if I tap on Resign or Restart a little dialog displays with two buttons, Back and OK, Tapping on OK is not recognized so my only way out is to tap Back. Only restarting the iPhone 5s seems to help.

        I have deleted and re-downloaded the App from the App Store several times, but the issue re-occurs and I am getting tired of losing my progress. When I initially started playing I could play for hours and hours without problems, but then 1.30 came out and this started happening. 1.31 has not fixed it.

    With v1.31 I found some issues with misclicks. I was near the end of the stage, and after my last move as Yeti the Brute throwed me on the water… the camera moved to top left and I’ve returned to the map first position. After that misclicks occured a lot, It was like Auro was not in that place, but somewhere near that place, so many misclicks that I had to quit the level.
